I Wanna Hold Your Hand (1978).

"Beatlemania hits Manhattan in director Robert Zemeckis's debut film. The comedy follows six teens on the day of the Beatles' 1964 premiere on "The Ed Sullivan Show." Bride-to-be Pam (Nancy Allen) wants a night of passion with one of the Fab Four; photographer Grace (Teresa Saldana) hopes to take the photo of her career; Rosie (Wendy Jo Sperber) and Richard (Eddie Deezen) are hysterical fans; and the other two are out to ruin the mop-tops' show."

A decently fun / ridiculous movie, especially if you like the Beatles.

One of my ex-boyfriends once told me that he didn't "get" why the Beatles were "such a big deal". He claimed to be someone who loved music. I can understand not LIKING the Beatles, but not understanding why they were such a big deal in music history means that you really don't know a whole lot about music.
